Both are everyday bottles. Single-wall: lighter and cost-effective; not insulated, so the exterior can sweat with cold drinks. Vacuum (double-wall): insulated to keep drinks hot or cold longer with no exterior condensation (“no sweat”); typically a little heavier.
Hot liquids: Use vacuum bottles for hot drinks (some lids—e.g., flip-valve straw lids—are for cold use only; check the product page). Carbonated liquids: Not suitable—pressure can affect lids and finishes. Always follow the guidance shown on the specific product page.
