Pad Print: Branding areas are front and back cover 55mm x 55mm or 65mm x 35mm. Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the cardboard cover and is suitable for sharp logos and text on smaller branding areas. Each colour requires its own setup charge, and variable data such as individual names is not available. PMS matching can be more difficult on darker cover colours.
Screen Print: Branding area is front and back cover 95mm x 170mm, with one-colour branding available. Screen printing forces ink through a fine mesh screen directly onto the cover and provides a larger branding area than pad print. It suits simple logos, text and bold one-colour artwork, but is not recommended for gradients, photos or full-colour designs.
