Description
The Metro Cup - Cork Band is a 340ml single wall reusable coffee cup made from soda lime glass, with a natural cork band and a push-on silicone lid. Soda lime glass is chemically inert and will not affect the taste of drinks, making it a clean, flavour-neutral alternative to plastic. The cup is not dishwasher safe and handwashing is recommended.
Laser engraving is the recommended branding method for the cork band, burning artwork into the natural surface to create a distinctive darker impression. Pad print is also available. The cup is presented in an individual gift box with a window, with an optional gift tube available.

Laser engraving is the recommended branding method for the cork band, burning artwork directly into the natural surface to create a distinctive darker impression. The result is permanent and complements the natural material well. Fine detail can be harder to reproduce on textured cork. Branding area is 30mm x 25mm on the band.
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink onto the cork surface. The natural texture of cork means bold, simple logos and clean text reproduce more reliably than fine detail. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data is not available. Branding area is 35mm x 25mm on the band.

It is formed by combining silica sand with soda ash and lime, a composition that has been refined over centuries of glassmaking. Soda lime glass is fully recyclable, chemically inert and will not affect the taste of drinks, making it a clean, flavour-neutral alternative to plastic. The clear body allows the contents and the cork band to remain fully visible, giving the cup a straightforward, honest look that suits the natural material well.
Natural Gift Box with Window
This coffee cup is presented in a natural kraft gift box with a die-cut window, cut to display the custom printed silicone band so branding is visible before the box is opened.
The gift box can be branded with digital packaging print in two positions: the top of the lid and the front panel. Digital packaging print applies full-colour CMYK artwork directly to the kraft surface and is well suited to logos, text and detailed artwork.
Variable Data Option
Digital packaging print supports variable data on the gift box, allowing individual names to be added at an additional cost. This makes the gift box well suited to staff gifts, client presentations, event merchandise and onboarding packs where individual presentation adds value. A personalisation surcharge applies per line of variable data.
Artwork Requirements
Artwork can be supplied in editable vector format or as high-resolution bitmap. Supplied bitmaps must be over 300DPI at the actual print size. As digital packaging print cannot lay down white ink, it is not suitable for printing on dark surfaces. Metallic, neon and fluorescent colours cannot be reproduced. Fonts should be converted to outlines to avoid font conflicts.
