The Onyx Writing Set is an all-black A5 hard cover notebook and pen gift set with a thermo PU cover, case binding and 80 unlined black 110gsm pages (160 pages).
The included twist-action brass pen has a matte black lacquer barrel, black metal trim and writes in silver gel ink. Three spare gel refills are included, giving a total writing distance of 500m. Branding options include pad print and laser engraving on the pen, and thermo debossing or thermo debossing XL on the notebook cover. The set is presented in a printed black gift box with a shaped insert.

Branding Options
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the pen barrel. Suitable for sharp logos and text on smaller branding areas. Two branding areas are available: 35mm x 6mm at positions G and I, or 30mm x 6mm at positions F and H. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data such as individual names is not available.
Laser engraving permanently engraves artwork into the pen barrel, producing a mirror finish that contrasts with the surrounding matte black lacquer. This makes the engraved area stand out clearly against the pen barrel. Branding area is 35mm x 6mm at positions G and I. Fine detail can be harder to reproduce on smaller areas.
Thermo Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the thermo PU cover, creating permanent recessed branding. The matte black cover gives the debossed impression a subtle, tonal look, so simple logos and clean artwork are recommended. Fine detail, gradients and variable data are not suitable. Branding areas are front cover 115mm x 90mm or back cover 80mm x 80mm.
Thermo Debossing XL uses the same process as standard Thermo Debossing but provides a larger branding area for artwork needing a bigger cover impression. Branding areas are front cover 115mm x 180mm or back cover 80mm x 180mm.
