Pad Print: Branding areas are notebook 55mm x 55mm or 65mm x 35mm, pen positions D and E 60mm x 7mm, and gift box 55mm x 55mm or 65mm x 35mm. Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork and is suitable for sharp logos and text on compact branding areas.
Screen Print: Branding areas are notebook 110mm x 110mm, one colour, and pen position A 65mm x 12mm. Screen printing forces ink through a fine mesh screen onto the product surface and is best for simple logos, text and bold artwork rather than gradients, photos or full-colour designs.
Laser Engraving: Pen positions D and E are 80mm x 7mm. Laser engraving is a permanent branding process that engraves artwork into the pen barrel using a laser. The Lancer Pen laser engraves to an oxidised white finish, with fine detail best avoided on this small branding area.
Direct Digital: Notebook branding area is 120mm x 190mm. Direct Digital prints artwork directly onto the notebook cover and is suitable for full-colour logos, fine detail, gradients and closely matched spot colour branding. Only one setup charge is required regardless of print colours.
Thermo Debossing: Notebook branding area is 100mm x 100mm. Thermo Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the PU cover, creating permanent recessed branding. On this notebook, the cover debosses to a two-tone finish, with best results from clean, simple artwork.
Thermo Debossing XL: Notebook branding area is 100mm x 180mm. Thermo Debossing XL uses the same heat and pressure process as standard Thermo Debossing but provides a larger branding area for a bigger cover impression.
Foil Printing: Notebook cover branding area is 70mm x 55mm. Foil Printing applies metallic foil using heat and pressure, creating a decorative finish with higher perceived value. It works best with simple logos, initials, icons and clean artwork.
