The Venus is a deluxe 600ml drink bottle made from borosilicate glass, a lightweight glass that is strong and shatter-resistant. Glass holds no flavour of its own, which makes it a clean and reusable alternative to plastic. The screw-on lid is stainless steel and can be laser engraved with a logo. The Venus is not intended for hot or carbonated drinks.
Alongside pad print and rotary screen print, the Venus can be branded with imitation etch, a special ink that gives a frosted, etched look on the glass at a fraction of the cost of real etching. Imitation etch uses a special ink to give a frosted, etched look on the glass at a fraction of the cost of real etching. It reads as a subtle, premium finish and works over the curve of the bottle. It suits solid shapes and clear text supplied as vector artwork rather than gradients or photographs. Two areas are available, 40mm x 50mm or a much larger 180mm x 150mm. The ink needs a curing period before the bottles can be shipped, so allow for that in your lead time.
Rotary screen print wraps a single solid colour around the bottle as it turns beneath a fine mesh screen, over a 180mm x 150mm area in one colour. It suits bold logos and clear text, and artwork should be vector with fonts outlined.
Pad print transfers a design with a silicone pad, holding fine detail down to about 0.4mm, so it suits a smaller or more detailed logo. Each colour has its own setup. The print area is 40mm x 50mm.
Laser engraving marks the stainless steel lid in a 35mm circle, leaving a permanent shiny steel finish that will not fade or peel.
