Description
The Nomad Cork Sleeve is a 600ml borosilicate glass drink bottle wrapped in an insulating neoprene sleeve with a natural cork outer, topped with a screw-on stainless steel lid that carries a wire handle and a natural bamboo panel. Borosilicate is lightweight, strong and shatter-resistant, and glass holds no flavour of its own, so water tastes the way it should. Cork and bamboo are both natural materials, so the grain and colour vary from one bottle to the next, and it is this use of natural materials that places the Nomad in the Impact Aware collection.
The cork sleeve takes a full colour transfer or a solid colour screen print. The Nomad is BPA-free, though not intended for hot or carbonated drinks, and comes presented in a natural gift box with a gift tube available as an option. Handwashing is recommended to preserve branding.

Colourflex transfer has a soft matt finish. It prints in CMYK plus a white under base, so full colour images, photographs and complex artwork come out bright and stand out against the natural cork. One setup covers the design no matter how many colours are in it, and the water based inks stay flexible and machine washable. Keep detail to 1mm or larger. A thin clear line of glue can sometimes show around the edge of the image. The print area is 70mm x 100mm.
DigiFlex transfer prints to the same area by a direct to film process and works out cheaper on shorter runs. It also handles variable data, so every bottle in an order can carry a different name or number for no extra setup. Detail holds to around 1mm. Artwork for either transfer can be vector or bitmap, with bitmaps supplied above 300dpi at actual print size and fonts converted to outlines. Both can ship straight off the press.
Screen print lays a solid colour directly onto the cork over a 70mm x 100mm area. It suits bold shapes and clear type rather than gradients or photographs, and artwork should be vector with fonts converted to outlines.
