Branding Options
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink onto the mug surface. Suited to sharp logos and clean text. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data is not available. Branding area is 40mm x 40mm.
Ceramic and Glaze
The Mocha Coffee Mug - Two-Tone is made from ceramic, a dense, fired clay material that is chemically inert, non-porous and food safe. Ceramic has good natural thermal mass, absorbing heat from the drink and slowing the rate at which it cools, making it a practical material for a coffee mug. The outer carries a matte glaze in either white or black. The inner is glazed in a contrasting gloss colour. This two-tone combination has become a popular choice across hospitality and corporate gifting. The range is available with either a white or black outer, each paired with a choice of coloured gloss inner.
Care and Longevity
Handwashing is recommended to protect the pad printed branding. Repeated dishwasher cycles expose the print to high heat, harsh detergents and the force of the water jets, which can cause the ink to fade, crack or lift from the glaze surface over time. Washing by hand with warm water and mild detergent preserves the print and extends the appearance of the mug. The matte glaze on the outer surface is also better maintained away from dishwasher detergents, which can gradually dull the finish with repeated use. A well-maintained ceramic mug will hold its appearance for years of regular use.
Custom Gift Box Wraps
Optional full colour gift box wraps add an extra branding layer to selected drinkware items, including bottles, ceramic mugs and reusable coffee cups. The wrap is digitally printed edge to edge in full colour, creased, folded and formed into a sleeve that slides over the gift box for a clean branded presentation.
This option is well suited to detailed artwork, gradients, patterns, campaign graphics and personalised branding. Sleeves are printed edge to edge, allowing the full wrap area to be customised without changing the gift box itself.
Variable Data Option
For an additional cost, gift box wraps can also be personalised with individual names or variable data. Personalised sleeves are useful for staff onboarding packs, client gifts, conferences and event merchandise where individual presentation is required. A personalisation surcharge applies per line.
Artwork Requirements
Artwork can be supplied in editable vector format or as high-resolution bitmap artwork. Supplied bitmap files should be over 300DPI at the actual print size, and a 3mm bleed should be added where artwork runs to the edge of the sleeve.
