The Mason is a round 330ml stoneware coffee mug with a single wall and a matte glazed finish, set off by a contrasting band of raw natural clay around the base. Because it is a hand-finished, rustic style, the height of the natural base varies a little from mug to mug.
The Mason is branded by pad print and arrives in a natural gift box, with an optional printed sleeve available at extra cost. Handwashing is recommended to keep the print sharp.

Branding Options
Pad print transfers ink onto the mug using a silicone pad lifted from a laser etched plate. It handles the curved surface well and reproduces sharp logos and clean text with detail as fine as 0.4mm. On the white glaze close PMS colour matches are achievable, while a design on the black glaze prints best with a white under base. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data such as individual names is not available. The branding area is 50mm x 35mm on one side.
Stoneware and Glaze
The Mason is made from stoneware, a clay fired at a high temperature that leaves it dense, hard-wearing and less porous than standard earthenware. The upper part carries a matte glaze while the lower section is left as raw, unglazed clay, giving the two-tone look and a slightly textured natural base. The matte glaze has a soft, non-reflective surface, and the exposed clay base gives a warm, natural contrast. This is a hand-finished, rustic style, so the height of the natural base varies a little from mug to mug, which is a characteristic of the product rather than a fault. Optional full colour gift box wraps add an extra branding layer to selected drinkware items, including bottles, ceramic mugs and reusable coffee cups. The wrap is digitally printed edge to edge in full colour, creased, folded and formed into a sleeve that slides over the gift box for a clean branded presentation.
This option is well suited to detailed artwork, gradients, patterns, campaign graphics and personalised branding. Sleeves are printed edge to edge, allowing the full wrap area to be customised without changing the gift box itself.
Variable Data Option
For an additional cost, gift box wraps can also be personalised with individual names or variable data. Artwork Requirements
Artwork can be supplied in editable vector format or as high-resolution bitmap artwork. Supplied bitmap files should be over 300DPI at the actual print size, and a 3mm bleed should be added where artwork runs to the edge of the sleeve.
