BLUNT Sport Umbrella
Description
Meet the Sport, the largest umbrella BLUNT makes and the one built for the great outdoors. Its huge 146cm canopy is made for open ground, from the golf course to the sidelines, giving generous cover where there is nowhere to hide from the weather. This is where BLUNT's engineering earns its keep: the patented Radial Tensioning System pulls the canopy drum-tight so it holds firm and stays put in gusts of up to 115km/h, exactly the exposed, windy conditions that turn an ordinary golf umbrella inside out.
Standing 99cm long and weighing 948g, and finished with BLUNT's signature rounded tips, the Sport comes in forest green, navy and black and is backed by a 2-year global warranty. Branding is applied by SupaColour full colour transfer.

Why BLUNT
BLUNT does not build umbrellas the way everyone else does. The idea was born on the streets of London, where founder and design engineer Greig Brebner watched cheap umbrellas snap, blow inside out and litter the gutters. Every BLUNT since has started from a single patented idea, engineered to fix a product that had stayed fundamentally flawed for centuries.
- Patented innovation: At the edge of the canopy sit BLUNT's signature rounded tips, which draw the tension out of the frame and spread it evenly across the whole canopy. No exposed spikes, no weak points, no dangerous ends at eye height.
- High tensioned canopy: That tension pulls the fabric drum-tight into a rigid, wing-like surface that holds its shape in the wind and will not flap, rattle or turn inside out, giving control in the conditions where other umbrellas give up.
- Wind tunnel tested: Every model is put through the wind tunnel and rated to withstand gusts of up to 115km/h, so the performance is measured, not promised.
- Built to last: BLUNT umbrellas are made to survive years of real weather, not a single storm, and are engineered and tested to keep performing season after season.
- Repair before replace: When a part finally wears, BLUNT repairs it rather than sending you a new one, keeping umbrellas in your hand and out of landfill.
- 2 year warranty: Every BLUNT is backed by a 2-year global warranty, the mark of a company that expects its umbrellas to last.
More about the Sport
Branding options
The Sport is branded by SupaColour, a full colour heat transfer widely regarded as the best in the world. It combines screen and digital printing with a printed white base, so logos, photographs and fine detail come through sharp and vibrant, and the colour stays true across every canopy colour. One setup covers the whole design however many colours it contains. Branding can go on one, two or three canopy panels, each with a print area of 250mm x 200mm.
Made for the course
The Sport is the largest umbrella in the BLUNT range, and its huge 146cm canopy makes it a natural on the golf course. It stands 99cm long and weighs 948g, with the generous span you want walking an exposed fairway. Where it really earns its place is the wind: a course offers no shelter, and cheap golf umbrellas fold at the first strong gust, but the Sport's tensioned canopy holds firm and stays the right way out, wind tunnel rated to 115km/h. In forest green, navy and black, it looks the part at the clubhouse too.
The Radial Tensioning System
At the heart of every BLUNT is the patented Radial Tensioning System. The signature rounded tips at the canopy edge act as small anchors, drawing the tension out of the frame and distributing it evenly across the whole canopy. The fabric is pulled taut into a rigid, aerodynamic surface that sits steadily in the wind and holds its shape where an ordinary umbrella would flex or invert, giving maximum control in the most demanding weather. Every model is wind tunnel tested to 115km/h.
Warranty and repair
Every BLUNT is built to last and backed by a 2-year global warranty. When a part does eventually wear, BLUNT's philosophy is to repair before replace, so a worn umbrella can be brought back to life at low cost and kept out of landfill.
