Its patented Radial Tensioning System pulls the canopy drum-tight, so it sits steady and holds its shape in gusts of up to 115km/h that leave ordinary compact umbrellas inside out.
The Neo is also the first in the core range with a recycled PET canopy and UPF50+ fabric, blocking more than 98% of the sun's UV, so it works as hard in the sun as in the rain. Finished with BLUNT's signature rounded tips and backed by a 2-year global warranty, it comes in five colours: citrus yellow, sage green, forest green, midnight navy and ink black. BLUNT does not build umbrellas the way everyone else does. The idea was born on the streets of London, where founder and design engineer Greig Brebner watched cheap umbrellas snap, blow inside out and litter the gutters. Every BLUNT since has started from a single patented idea, engineered to fix a product that had stayed fundamentally flawed for centuries.

The Neo is branded by SupaColour, a full colour heat transfer widely regarded as the best in the world. It combines screen and digital printing with a printed white base, so logos, photographs and fine detail come through sharp and vibrant, and the colour stays true across every canopy colour. One setup covers the whole design however many colours it contains. Branding can go on one, two or three canopy panels, each with a print area of 250mm x 150mm.
The Radial Tensioning System
At the heart of every BLUNT is the patented Radial Tensioning System. The signature rounded tips at the canopy edge act as small anchors, drawing the tension out of the frame and distributing it evenly across the whole canopy. The fabric is pulled taut into a rigid, aerodynamic surface that sits steadily in the wind and holds its shape where an ordinary umbrella would flex or invert, giving maximum control in the most demanding weather. Every model is wind tunnel tested to 115km/h.
