Built full-length in the traditional style, it opens by hand to a generous 120cm canopy with room to keep you comfortably dry, and stands 84cm long with BLUNT's signature rounded tips. At 550g it has the reassuring balance of a proper umbrella, and its patented Radial Tensioning System pulls the canopy drum-tight so it holds firm in gusts of up to 115km/h that turn ordinary umbrellas inside out.

Why BLUNT
BLUNT does not build umbrellas the way everyone else does. The idea was born on the streets of London, where founder and design engineer Greig Brebner watched cheap umbrellas snap, blow inside out and litter the gutters. Every BLUNT since has started from a single patented idea, engineered to fix a product that had stayed fundamentally flawed for centuries.
- Patented innovation: At the edge of the canopy sit BLUNT's signature rounded tips, which draw the tension out of the frame and spread it evenly across the whole canopy. No exposed spikes, no weak points, no dangerous ends at eye height.
- High tensioned canopy: That tension pulls the fabric drum-tight into a rigid, wing-like surface that holds its shape in the wind and will not flap, rattle or turn inside out, giving control in the conditions where other umbrellas give up.

Branding options
The Classic is branded by SupaColour, a full colour heat transfer widely regarded as the best in the world. It combines screen and digital printing with a printed white base, so logos, photographs and fine detail come through sharp and vibrant, and the colour stays true across every canopy colour. One setup covers the whole design however many colours it contains. Branding can go on one, two or three canopy panels, each with a print area of 250mm x 200mm.

The Radial Tensioning System
At the heart of every BLUNT is the patented Radial Tensioning System. The signature rounded tips at the canopy edge act as small anchors, drawing the tension out of the frame and distributing it evenly across the whole canopy. The fabric is pulled taut into a rigid, aerodynamic surface that sits steadily in the wind and holds its shape where an ordinary umbrella would flex or invert, giving maximum control in the most demanding weather. Every model is wind tunnel tested to 115km/h.
