Description
The Stellar Cup Borosilicate is a 250ml single wall reusable coffee cup made from borosilicate glass. Borosilicate is lightweight and shatter-resistant, offering a BPA-free, flavour-neutral alternative to plastic or single-use paper cups. A wide heat-resistant silicone band provides a comfortable grip, and the push-on polypropylene lid has a flip closure and silicone seal. The cup is not dishwasher safe and handwashing is recommended.
The lid, band and flip piece can all be mixed and matched across the standard colour range, with five combinations included in the price and additional combinations available for an extra charge. Branding is available on the silicone band by screen print, silicone digital print, debossing or pad print. The cup is presented in a natural gift box with a window showcasing the product, with an optional gift tube available at additional cost. The design is registered in Australia and New Zealand.

Screen print forces ink through a fine mesh screen onto the silicone band. One colour only. Not suitable for gradients, photos or multi-colour designs. Each colour requires its own setup charge. Branding area is 200mm x 25mm on the band.
Silicone digital print is a CMYK+W digital process for silicone surfaces, producing full-colour artwork with a flexible matt finish that resists cracking and fading. Gradients and detailed logos are achievable. One setup charge applies regardless of print colours. Metallic and neon colours cannot be reproduced. Branding area is 50mm x 28mm on the band.
Debossing presses a heated metal plate into the silicone band to create a permanent recessed impression. The finish can be subtle on coloured silicone. Suited to bold, simple logos and clean text. Not suitable for fine detail, gradients or variable data. Branding area is 50mm x 28mm on the band.
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink onto the band surface. Suited to sharp logos and clean text. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data is not available. Branding area is 45mm x 25mm on the band.
Borosilicate Glass
The Stellar Cup is made from borosilicate glass, a material originally developed for laboratory use and now widely used in quality drinkware. It is formed by adding boron trioxide to the glass composition, which lowers its coefficient of thermal expansion significantly compared to standard soda-lime glass. The result is a glass that handles sudden temperature changes without cracking, making it well suited to hot beverages. Borosilicate is BPA-free, chemically inert and will not affect the flavour of drinks. It is also lighter than standard glass, giving the Stellar Cup a quality feel without excessive weight.
Natural Gift Box with Window
This coffee cup is presented in a natural kraft gift box with a die-cut window, cut to display the custom printed silicone band so branding is visible before the box is opened.
The gift box can be branded with digital packaging print in two positions: the top of the lid and the front panel. Digital packaging print applies full-colour CMYK artwork directly to the kraft surface and is well suited to logos, text and detailed artwork.
Variable Data Option
Digital packaging print supports variable data on the gift box, allowing individual names to be added at an additional cost. This makes the gift box well suited to staff gifts, client presentations, event merchandise and onboarding packs where individual presentation adds value. A personalisation surcharge applies per line of variable data.
Artwork Requirements
Artwork can be supplied in editable vector format or as high-resolution bitmap. Supplied bitmaps must be over 300DPI at the actual print size. As digital packaging print cannot lay down white ink, it is not suitable for printing on dark surfaces. Metallic, neon and fluorescent colours cannot be reproduced. Fonts should be converted to outlines to avoid font conflicts.
