Saturn Aluminium Pen
Description
The Saturn Aluminium Pen features an aluminium barrel with a gloss lacquer finish and chrome detailing. It includes a stylus tip at the top end for use with compatible touchscreen devices. The push-button retractable ballpoint mechanism is supplied with a 1.0mm black ink refill and a writing distance of up to 2.1 kilometres. A ribbed grip section adds visible barrel detail near the lower section of the pen. Chrome accents appear on the clip, tip, rings and upper trim, contrasting with the coloured barrel. The pen is available in a range of colours and can be branded by laser engraving or pad print.

Branding Methods
Laser engraving is a permanent branding method that removes the barrel surface using a laser. On the Saturn Aluminium Pen, laser engraving is available on the barrel with a maximum branding area of 50 x 6mm. The result appears as a metal-toned mark against the gloss lacquered barrel. This method is suited to logos, names and fine line artwork, but it does not reproduce colour.
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an etched plate onto the pen surface. On this pen, pad print branding is available on the pen barrel with a maximum branding area of 50 x 7mm. Pad print can also be applied to a pen sleeve with a maximum branding area of 55 x 20mm. This method is suited to solid colour logos and text, but it is not suited to photographic artwork or full-colour gradients.
