Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the notebook cover. Suitable for sharp logos and text on smaller branding areas. Two branding areas are available: 55mm x 55mm or 65mm x 35mm on the front or back cover. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data such as individual names is not available. PMS matching is less consistent on the textured PU surface than on a smooth cover.
Screen printing forces ink through a fine mesh screen directly onto the notebook cover. Suitable for simple logos, text and bold spot-colour artwork, and not recommended for gradients, photos or full-colour designs. One-colour branding only. Branding area is 90mm x 160mm on the front cover.
Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the cover, creating a permanent recessed impression. On this textured PU cover, the debossed impression creates a subtle tone-on-tone finish where the logo sits recessed against the surrounding texture. Simple logos, wordmarks and clean artwork are recommended. Fine detail, gradients and variable data are not suitable. Branding area is 105mm x 80mm on the notebook cover.
Debossing XL uses the same heat and pressure process as standard Debossing but provides a larger branding area. Best for simple artwork needing a bigger cover impression. Branding area is 105mm x 180mm on the notebook cover.
