Branding Options
Screen Print: Branding areas are front 140mm x 240mm and back 135mm x 240mm. Screen printing forces ink through a fine mesh screen directly onto the notebook cover and is suitable for simple logos, text and bold spot-colour artwork. The large branding areas give room for clear front or back cover artwork, but screen print is not recommended for gradients, photos or full-colour designs. Each print colour requires its own setup and print pass.
Direct Digital: Branding area is 190mm x 270mm. Direct Digital prints artwork directly onto the notebook cover and is suitable for full-colour logos, fine detail, gradients and closely matched spot colour branding. It gives the largest confirmed branding area on this notebook and uses one setup charge regardless of print colours. Metallic, neon and fluorescent colours cannot be reproduced, so artwork should be prepared in process colour values.
Debossing: Branding area is 90mm x 115mm. Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the hard PU cover surface, creating a permanent recessed impression that becomes part of the notebook. The finish can be subtle, especially on black covers, so simple logos, wordmarks and clean artwork are recommended. Fine detail, gradients and variable data such as individual names are not suitable.
Debossing XL: Branding area is 180mm x 115mm. Debossing XL uses the same heat and pressure process as standard debossing but provides a larger cover branding area. It is suitable when simple artwork needs a bigger impression while keeping the branding permanent and built into the PU surface. Clean artwork with solid lines will give the best result on the smart black cover.
