The Pierre Cardin Nouvelle Notebook is an A5 hard cover notebook with a thermo PU cover, case binding and 80 lined 80gsm cream FSC pages (160 pages). The cover features an elastic loop closure with a branded Pierre Cardin metal slider.
The Pierre Cardin logo is debossed on the back cover, and the Pierre Cardin signature is printed at the bottom of each page. Branding options include thermo debossing, debossing XL and foil printing. An optional full-colour paper belly band is also available.

Branding Options
Thermo Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the thermo PU cover, creating permanent recessed branding. The finish can produce a subtle two-tone effect where the debossed area has a slightly different sheen to the surrounding cover. Simple logos and clean artwork are recommended, as fine detail, gradients and variable data are not suitable. The equal branding area on both covers gives flexibility in artwork placement. Branding areas are front cover 110mm x 90mm or back cover 110mm x 90mm.
Debossing XL uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the cover, creating a permanent recessed impression across a larger area. It suits simple artwork needing a bigger cover impression, such as a wordmark or a logo with supporting text. Branding areas are front cover 110mm x 180mm or back cover 110mm x 144mm.
Foil printing applies metallic foil using heat and pressure, giving a decorative finish with higher perceived value. Works best with simple logos, initials and clean artwork. Fine detail can be less clear on textured surfaces. Foil and debossing can be combined across the front and back covers, allowing two distinct branding methods on one notebook. Branding area is 70mm x 55mm on the front cover.

The Pierre Cardin Nouvelle Notebook features an elastic loop closure rather than a free elastic band. The loop is fixed at both ends of the notebook and a small Pierre Cardin branded metal slider sits on the loop. The cream FSC-certified pages carry the Pierre Cardin Paris signature at the bottom of each page, and the Pierre Cardin logo is permanently debossed on the back cover. The 3mm thermo PU cover opens flat with case binding.
Optional Full-Colour Belly Band
An optional paper belly band is available for this notebook and wraps around the front and back cover. It gives you an extra branding area for campaign artwork, event messaging, sponsor logos, recipient details or a gift-style presentation while keeping the notebook cover branding simple.
Belly Band Digital Print
The belly band is printed in full colour using Digital Print, a CMYK print method used for paper media. It is ideal for complex images, illustrations, gradients and colourful brand artwork, with only one setup charge required regardless of the number of print colours. Individual names can also be added to the belly band at an additional charge, making it useful for personalised notebooks, event packs or client gifts.
Belly Band Artwork Requirements
Artwork can be supplied in vector or bitmap format. Bitmap artwork should be over 300DPI at actual print size, and a 3mm bleed should be added when the artwork runs off the edge of the belly band. Metallic, neon and fluorescent colours are not available, and dark stock should be avoided because white ink cannot be printed underneath the artwork.
