Panama Palette Pen
Description
Panama Palette Pen is a retractable ballpoint made from recycled aluminium with full colour customisation. It is part of the Impact Aware Collection because it is made with recycled materials. The barrel is produced to a custom PMS colour with a choice of gloss, matte or rubberised finishes. Shiny chrome trim, including the clip, tip and plunger, provides contrast against the coloured barrel. It uses a 1mm ballpoint refill with 1200 metres of black or blue Dokumental ink. Laser engraving produces an oxidised white finish on the surface. This pen is made to order with a production lead time of 38 working days.

Branding Methods
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving uses a focused beam to engrave artwork into the barrel surface for a permanent finish. On this pen, branding can be applied with a maximum size of 50mm x 7mm along the barrel. The aluminium surface engraves to an oxidised white finish, creating a clear tonal contrast against the chosen PMS colour. This method suits logos, names and simple artwork that need a precise, long-lasting result. Fine detail may be less visible on smaller pen branding areas.
Pad Print
Pad printing applies ink to the barrel using a silicone pad for clean, precise results. Branding can be applied with a maximum size of 50mm x 7mm. This method is suited to spot colour logos and fine detail artwork. It works well where a compact branding area is preferred.
Rotary Screen Print
Rotary screen printing wraps ink around the barrel for extended single colour branding. On this pen, artwork can be applied up to 45mm x 12mm in one colour only. The process rolls the pen while applying ink, helping maintain even coverage across curved surfaces. It suits bold logos and simple designs that benefit from a larger print area.
Digital Print
Digital printing applies full colour artwork directly onto the barrel surface. Branding can be applied with a maximum size of 50mm x 7mm. This method suits multi-colour logos and detailed artwork that cannot be reproduced with single colour methods. It works well for custom designs that require flexibility in colour reproduction.

Impact Aware
Impact Aware highlights products selected for a lower-impact profile. Each item in the range meets at least one of three criteria—using recycled inputs, drawing on natural materials, or partnering with brands that return value to people or the planet. You’ll also see an Impact Aware icon on the main product image, making it easy to spot eligible items at a glance.
Made with Recycled Materials
These products repurpose existing resources—such as recycled plastics, paper, fabric, or metals—to reduce demand for virgin material and extend the life of what already exists. Examples across the range include RPET and recycled stainless components, as noted on individual product pages.
Made with Natural Materials
Items in this pillar prioritise renewable inputs like cotton, jute, bamboo, or paper. They’re chosen for everyday practicality while leaning on materials that come from nature and can be renewed. Product specs identify the natural material used for each item.
