Branding Methods
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the barrel from a laser etched printing plate. Branding is available with maximum areas of 45mm x 7mm or 32mm x 8mm, and on the pen sleeve with a maximum area of 55mm x 20mm. This method is suited to solid colour logos, text and simple artwork on curved pen surfaces. Pad print can reproduce sharp detail and is commonly used for promotional pens.
Digital printing applies full colour artwork directly onto the barrel surface with maximum areas of 45mm x 6mm or 32mm x 7mm. This method is suitable for multi-colour logos, gradients and fine-detail artwork. Digital print uses CMYK values and is ideal for more complex branding designs where multiple colours are required.
