The Scholar Backpack is a 12L custom branded backpack made from 600D polyester. It fits laptops up to 15 inches and features a zippered main closure, large front zippered pocket and side mesh drink bottle holder.
Adjustable padded woven shoulder straps and a woven carry handle give the backpack simple carrying options. Screen Print: Pocket, 120mm x 90mm. Screen printing forces ink through a fine mesh screen directly onto the backpack panel. It is suitable for simple logos, text and bold spot-colour artwork. For full-colour artwork, gradients or fine detail, Colourflex Transfer, Digital Transfer or Faux Embroidery are better options for this backpack.
Colourflex Transfer: Top, 120mm x 80mm; pocket, 120mm x 90mm. Colourflex Transfer is a CMYK+W digital transfer process for bag branding. It is ideal for full-colour logos, complex artwork and approximate spot colour branding, with a high-definition vibrant matt finish. Only one setup charge is required regardless of print colours. Limitations include no metallic, neon or fluorescent colours, possible fine clear glue line around artwork, no variable data and minimum detail around 1mm.
Faux Embroidery: Top, 120mm x 80mm; pocket, 120mm x 90mm. Faux Embroidery is a Colourflex Transfer where artwork is digitised to create texture and depth that mimics embroidery. It is suited to bold, larger artwork and can work better than conventional embroidery for smaller print areas. It is not suitable for fine detail, Pantone matching or metallic colours.
Embroidery: Top and pocket, 100mm x 70mm. Embroidery uses rayon thread stitched into the backpack, creating a slightly raised finish and a higher perceived branding value. It has one setup charge per position for up to 12 thread colours. PMS colour matches are approximate, variable data is not available and fine detail should be avoided.
Digital Transfer: Top, 120mm x 80mm; pocket, 120mm x 90mm. Digital Transfer is a full-colour transfer option for bag branding and is suitable for detailed logos, gradients and multi-colour artwork. It is a good option when artwork needs more detail than screen printing can usually reproduce on fabric panels.
