The Recycled Cotton Hard Cover Notebook is an approximately A5 hard cover notebook made from repurposed cotton, with perfect binding and 50 lined 90gsm cream cotton pages (100 pages). The cover and pages are both made from the same repurposed cotton material, giving the notebook a cloth-like texture throughout.
As repurposed cotton is a natural material, the cover and pages may show variation in colour, texture and branding finish between notebooks. Branding options include pad print and screen print on the front cover. An optional full-colour paper belly band is also available.

Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the cotton cover surface. Suitable for sharp logos and text on smaller branding areas. Two branding areas are available: 55mm x 55mm or 65mm x 35mm. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data such as individual names is not available. Because repurposed cotton has a natural texture, PMS colour matching can be less predictable than on a smooth surface, and the branding may carry a slight texture effect. Simple logos and clean artwork tend to give the most consistent result.
Screen printing forces ink through a fine mesh screen directly onto the cotton cover surface. Suitable for simple logos, text and bold spot-colour artwork, and not recommended for gradients, photos or full-colour designs. One-colour branding only. The branding area of 110mm x 180mm covers most of the front cover and is well-suited to bold logo placement across the natural cotton surface. The texture of the cover influences how the final branding appears compared to printing on a smooth PU cover.

The belly band is printed in full colour using Digital Print, a CMYK print method used for paper media. It is ideal for complex images, illustrations, gradients and colourful brand artwork, with only one setup charge required regardless of the number of print colours. Individual names can also be added to the belly band at an additional charge, making it useful for personalised notebooks, event packs or client gifts.
Belly Band Artwork Requirements
Artwork can be supplied in vector or bitmap format. Bitmap artwork should be over 300DPI at actual print size, and a 3mm bleed should be added when the artwork runs off the edge of the belly band. Metallic, neon and fluorescent colours are not available, and dark stock should be avoided because white ink cannot be printed underneath the artwork.
