Branding Methods
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the barrel or pen sleeve from a laser etched printing plate. Branding is available on the barrel with a maximum area of 45mm x 7mm, and on the pen sleeve with a maximum area of 55mm x 20mm. This method is suited to solid colour logos, text and simple artwork on curved pen surfaces. Pad print can reproduce sharp detail and is commonly used for promotional pens.
Digital printing applies full colour artwork directly onto the barrel surface with a maximum branding area of 45mm x 6.5mm. This method is suitable for multi-colour logos, gradients and fine-detail artwork. Digital print uses CMYK values and is ideal for more complex branding designs where multiple colours are required.
