Thermo Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the thermo PU notebook cover, creating permanent recessed branding. The finish can produce a subtle two-tone effect on the thermo PU surface. Simple logos and clean artwork are recommended, as fine detail, gradients and variable data are not suitable. Branding areas are notebook front 110mm x 90mm or notebook back 110mm x 90mm.
Thermo Debossing XL uses the same heat and pressure process as standard Thermo Debossing but provides a larger branding area on both covers. Best for artwork needing more space, such as a wordmark or a logo with supporting text. Branding areas are notebook front 110mm x 180mm or notebook back 110mm x 144mm.
Foil printing applies metallic foil using heat and pressure, giving a decorative finish with higher perceived value. Works best with simple logos and clean artwork. Fine detail can be less clear on textured surfaces. Foil and thermo debossing can be combined across the notebook front and back covers. Branding area is 70mm x 55mm on the notebook front cover.
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the pen barrel. Suitable for sharp logos and text on smaller branding areas. Branding areas are 6mm x 30mm or 6mm x 35mm on the pen. Each colour requires its own setup charge and variable data such as individual names is not available. PMS matching results may vary on the pen barrel finish.
