Description
The Kovu Pen is a retractable aluminium ballpoint pen with a metallic lacquered barrel. It is available in matte black or gloss black, with matching black trim for a clean single-colour profile. The pen uses a Parker-style plastic refill with 1800 metres of black German manufactured Dokumental ink. A 1mm nib and tungsten carbide ball are included for standard ballpoint writing. The barrel and grip are made from aluminium, while the clip is iron and the tip is ABS. Branding is available by pad print or laser engraving in multiple barrel positions.

Branding Methods
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an etched plate onto the pen surface. On the Kovu Pen, pad print branding is available in positions G and I with a maximum branding area of 25 x 6mm, or positions F and H with a maximum branding area of 35 x 6mm. This method is suited to solid colour logos and text within the compact branding areas. It is not suited to photographic artwork or full-colour gradients.
Laser engraving is a permanent branding process that removes the barrel coating to expose the material beneath. On this pen, laser engraving is available in positions G and I with a maximum branding area of 25 x 5mm, or positions F and H with a maximum branding area of 35 x 5mm. The supplier-confirmed engraving finish is oxidised white, creating contrast against the black barrel. This method is suited to logos, names and clean line artwork, but it does not reproduce colour.

The Kovu Pen uses an all-black visual style with black trim and a simple rounded profile. Its upper section has an integrated clip and a subtle diagonal transition line near the centre of the pen. The barrel has a compact branding area due to the curved body shape and clip placement.
