Fabric and Fit

The JB's Hi Vis (D+N) LS Non Cuff TTMC-W17 Traditional Polo uses a 160gsm 100% polyester micro mesh fabric with JB's Dri moisture wicking to help keep you cool and dry. A reinforced chest pocket with pen insert and a 15cm back drop-tail are finished with an open, non cuffed sleeve end. The fabric complies with Standard AS 4399:2020 for UPF sun protection, and the garment complies with Standards AS/NZS 1906.4:2023, AS/NZS 4602.1:2011 and AS 4602.1:2024 for Day and Night hi-vis use at Level 2, plus TTMC-W17 (CoPTTM) for traffic management use. This style is only available in New Zealand.

Fit and Care

Wash the JB's Hi Vis (D+N) LS Non Cuff TTMC-W17 Traditional Polo before wearing, cold by hand or on a gentle machine cycle with similar colours, washing dark colours separately. Avoid soaking, bleaching, wringing or tumble drying, and dry in the shade. Iron warm on the reverse side, and do not dry clean.

Branding methods

Embroidery and SupaColour

Both embroidery and SupaColour are available on the JB's Hi Vis (D+N) LS Non Cuff TTMC-W17 Traditional Polo. Embroidery stitches rayon thread directly into the fabric for a slightly raised, premium finish, suited to bold, clean logos and text, with up to 12 thread colours under one setup charge and a 100mm x 100mm branding area. SupaColour is a full colour heat transfer that combines screen and digital printing with a printed white base, so logos, photographs and fine detail come through sharp regardless of polo colour, with branding areas up to A4 size and one setup covering the whole design. Artwork should be supplied in editable vector format with fonts converted to outlines.

Understanding This Polo's Hi Vis Rating

Hi vis garments in Australia and New Zealand are rated under AS/NZS 4602.1 as Class D (Day), Class N (Night) or Class D/N (Day and Night). This polo carries a Class D/N rating, using both fluorescent orange fabric and retroreflective tape so it stays visible in daylight and after dark or in low light.

The 2024 update to the standard, AS 4602.1:2024, introduced Levels within each class based on the tape's configuration. Level 1 covers garments with tape in a defined layout on the body, while Level 2 requires the more extensive over the shoulder tape configuration with a reflective hoop on each arm, and is reserved for higher risk environments such as roadside or traffic control work. This polo is rated Level 2, which lines up with its TTMC-W17 (CoPTTM) compliance: TTMC-W is the New Zealand Transport Agency's specification for garments worn during temporary traffic management, layered on top of the general AS/NZS 4602.1 rating.
