Branding Options
Pad Print: Notebook branding areas are 50mm x 50mm or 65mm x 35mm. Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer artwork onto the notebook cover and is suitable for sharp logos and text on smaller branding areas. Each colour requires its own setup charge, and variable data such as individual names is not available. PMS matching can be more difficult on darker cover colours.
Laser Engraving: Branding areas are notebook 80mm x 40mm, and pen positions D and E 60mm x 7mm. Laser engraving permanently engraves artwork into the surface using a laser. It is suitable for simple logos and text on the notebook cover or cork-barrel pen, with fine detail best avoided on the smaller pen branding area.
Direct Digital: Branding areas are notebook 90mm x 40mm, and pen positions D and E 60mm x 7mm. Direct Digital prints artwork directly onto the confirmed surface and is suitable for full-colour logos, fine detail, gradients and closely matched spot colour branding. One setup charge is required regardless of print colours, while metallic, neon and fluorescent colours cannot be reproduced.
Debossing: Notebook branding area is 100mm x 50mm. Debossing uses heat and pressure to press artwork into the cover surface, creating a permanent recessed impression. It works best with simple logos, wordmarks and clean artwork, while fine detail, gradients and variable data are not suitable.
Foil Printing: Notebook branding area is 70mm x 50mm. Foil Printing applies metallic foil using heat and pressure, creating a decorative finish with higher perceived value than standard ink branding. It is best suited to simple logos, initials, icons and clean artwork, while very fine lines and small text should be avoided.
