Description
The Constellation Pen features an aluminium barrel with weighted construction and silver accents. It uses a push-button retractable ballpoint mechanism and is supplied with black ink. Branding Methods
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an etched plate onto the pen surface. On the Constellation Pen, pad print branding is available on the barrel with a maximum size of 50 x 6mm, or 32 x 8mm. Pad print can also be applied to a pen sleeve with a maximum branding area of 55 x 20mm. This method is suited to solid colour logos and text, but it is not suited to photographic artwork or full-colour gradients.
Laser engraving is a permanent branding process that removes the barrel surface using a laser. On this pen, laser engraving is available on the barrel with a maximum size of 50 x 6mm, or 32 x 8mm. The result appears as a metal-toned mark against the aluminium barrel finish. This method is suited to logos, names and clean line artwork, but it does not reproduce colour.
