Aspen Aluminium Pen
Description
The Aspen Aluminium Pen features an aluminium barrel with a rubberised coating that creates a smooth soft matte finish. Chrome detailing is used on the push button, clip and tapered tip, providing contrast against the coloured barrel. Its push-button retractable ballpoint mechanism is supplied with black ink. The straight barrel gives the pen a clean decoration surface for several branding methods. Plastic components are also included in the pen construction, as confirmed in the supplier specifications. The pen is available in a range of colours, each using the same chrome trim.

Branding Methods
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an etched plate onto the pen surface. On the Aspen Aluminium Pen, pad print branding is available on the pen with a maximum branding area of 50 x 7mm. Pad print can also be applied to the pen sleeve with a maximum branding area of 55 x 20mm. This method is suited to solid colour logos and text, but it is not suited to photographic artwork or full-colour gradients.
Digital print applies artwork directly to the barrel surface and allows full-colour branding within the confirmed print area. On this pen, digital print is available with a maximum branding area of 50 x 6.5mm. This method is suited to colourful logos, fine detail and artwork requiring multiple colours. The narrow branding height means very small text may need to be simplified.
Laser engraving is a permanent branding method that removes the surface coating to reveal the material beneath. On the Aspen Aluminium Pen, laser engraving is available with a maximum branding area of 50 x 6mm. The engraving result appears as a metal-toned mark against the rubberised barrel finish. This method is suited to logos, names and fine line artwork, but it does not reproduce colour.
